1981 R100RS Smoke Red 9,950 miles Original Smoke Red paint in excellent condition with only a few very small imperfections. Less than 10,000 miles on the bike as of 7/29/10. 1972 R75/5 SWB 1971/2 R75/5 SWB. One of the first off the line! 33,816 Gentle Original One Owner Miles, never raced or abused. Short wheel base. Kick and electric start. Nice bike that has always had its maintenance schedule adhered to and was always garaged. Clear Vermont title. 1983 R100 1983 BMW R100. Less than 34,000 miles, the motor was completely serviced while the paint was done less than 500 miles ago. Fairing was swapped for frame mounted bubble fairing. Progressive springs and front fork brace installed. Almost every piece of hardware has been replaced with stainless steel and/or polished. The fairing was cracked just before install, it has been repaired but has not been painted. Replaced grips and peg sleeves. Metzler tires also have fewer than 500 miles. I can e-mail pictures. 1978 BMW R 80/7 $2600 OBO * Corbin seat * Metzeler “Lasertec” tires with good tread (approx. half tread in rear, more in front) * Bing carburetors * Krauser hard side luggage containers, plus additional removable white trunk * Front disc brake and rear drum. * Cover & new oil filter included I have owned this great motorcycle for just about 4 three years. It runs great! Before me, it belonged to a good family friend who maintained the bike well, stored it in a garage and only rode it occasionally. I initially owned it while living in San Francisco and stored it in a garage near downtown. I now live in Truckee, CA and ride it occasionally during the summer. I'm selling it because I'm trying to lessen the things I own, but this moto will be missed. Mileage: I believe this BMW to have approximately 74k miles on it, though the odometer stopped working about a year ago, and now the numbers “bounce” around with street vibrations. When this started happening, I remember the bike reading 72k+ miles on it and the most I've ridden it since then is 2,000 miles. The tripometer still works for day rides and keeping track of remaining fuel. I would consider this motorcycle to be in good to very good condition, though not perfect by any means. It has some minor visible seeping through the lower/front part of the engine, though this will not be enough to “drip” on your driveway or garage, which it does not do in any case. Feel free to email with any specific questions. I have also included a website with many pictures of the bike, which were taken last fall, but the condition of the 32 year old bike remains the same. 1986 R65 monoshock excellent condition! 1986 R65. Just under 37,000 miles. Excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. Bike has always been stored indoors. Comes with tool kit, hard bags and rear rack. I have owned it for almost two years and upon purchase went completely through it. The carbs have been completely rebuilt and balanced, ss brake line, fork seals replaced, new fork gatiors, steering head bearing cleaned and greased, transmission spline lubed, new coil, new tires, oil pressure switch, neutral switch, misc rubber bits and pieces,removed and cleaned oil pan and strainer, cleaned all electrical connections, etc. etc. I have taken two trips to the NC mountains and have riden more than 500 miles in one day and she never missed a beat. Bike is great in the twisties. 18" front and rear tires bring the seat height lower than other airheads making it great for the shorter riders. (I am 5'6")Transmission and final drive splines are excellent. Bike has absolutely no issues. You won't be disappointed. 1991 R100 Classic, rarest BMW produced This is a bike most BMW dealers don't even know was produced. There were 170 made during 1991 and is the last of the old style airheads. The bike has 9K miles and is all original and was in like new condition until my ex-friend took it for a test ride and did a low speed low side in a grassy field (don't ask!). The damage was cosmetic only to include a few knee depressions on the tank, a mirror, a head light glass (which I replaced), bent headlight mounts (the ones on the fork which I have some excellent condition used ones that need to be mounted) The old mounts still work and aren't too bad. One valve cover has the black paint slightly worn thru on a small spot but no damage to the cover. I can send pictures on request. Bike is dark grey with siver stripes, tool kit is like new, new tires, every thing works and it runs and handles like new. It also has new city bags which are included if sold for asking price. 1988 R100-GS Bumblebee This is a great motorcycle and is in great shape. The bike has been regularly and professionally maintained, has been garage kept, and has 40,000 miles. I am the 3rd owner, and believe I have all the receipts. Recent work and equipment includes a new starter, a new clutch and main seal, a new diode board, and a new gel battery. 1981 R100RT Very nice R100RT. Very dependable and a fun bike to ride. It has a new seat cover and I have installed a Reynolds ride off center stand. All of the fluids have been changed, and the clutch splines lubed. The heads have been torqued and the valves adjusted. I have replaced the floats and float valves. The Fork seals have been replaced and new boots installed. It has a new battery. It is ready to go anywhere you want to take it. The pictures don't show it, but I do have the lower fairing parts for it as well. I also have the air pump, tools, factory service manual, original owners manual and Haynes manual. It also has the original hard bags. I can deliver anywhere in Arizona, Utah or New Mexico if you pay the gas. It has about 48,500 miles but it is a daily driver so that will go up. My K1200S and my almost ready 89 R100GS is less air resistive. Lets say I have a rebuilt leather corbin, new exhaust epco pipes, rebuilt works shock (will be returned from Works in a week.) Fresh filters and fluids. 1200 miles on fresh top end (by Heid's in Johnsburg, NY), rebuilt starter and starter relay (Motorrad Elektrik), new solid-mounted Omega Diode Board, Yuasa battery. Bike is stock except for the following upgrades: KONI adjustable and rebuildable rear shock, Brown sidestand, Suburban Machinery spin-on oil filter system, heated grips, Parabellum short windscreen, Luftmeister braided steel brake line, Lite Buddy rear running lites, Stopper LED brake light, Fiamm horns, air injection has been reomved. Mechanically the bike is 9.5/10. This is a very strong and smooth running airhead and a very sweet ride. Turns about 4000 rpm at 70 mph in 5th. Cosmetically the bike is 8.5/10. Paint/striping is all original with RS decals removed from fairing and side covers. There are brown spots on the tank where the previous owner left a magnetic tank bag permanently in place for years. I have not been able to remove the spots with polishing compound so far. Paint has some chips, scratches, etc. but the bike looks pretty darn good in spite of these realities. 1983 R65 in Texas Very nice R65. Mileage unknown (new odometer installed prior to acquisition). Purchased and mechanically checked, repaired and tuned by Boxers by Bruce in 2009. New steel brake cable and master cylinder,tach replaced, new grips, seat reupholstered with gel pad insert and marine vinyl, and installed chrome engine guards in OK condition(purchased here). R65 also comes with King/Queen-style touring seat. Professionally repainted in Mustang yellow, with color matched Givi A-755 bikini fairing and matching cowls for each seat (mounted). May need front brake pads, so a new set (uninstalled) is included, as well as a new turn signal alert bulb. Excellent tires. Can't think of anything else it needs... 1982 r100rs Fire red paint job, 70K memorable miles on it. New(ish) BMW saddlebags. Corbin saddle has cracks in the naugahyde. Runs great, needs tlc though. 1984 R100 SPORT BMW R100 SPORT. Holds same specification as the R100cs: A10 engine with strengthened engine housing, larger sump with 2.5 liter capacity, 38mm header pipes, lighter clutch, electronic ignition. 70 horsepower, 3 more than regular R100. 1977 R100S 1977 R100S, original red paint (faded), hasn't been ridden in 12 years but rode well at the time. Bike is in original condition and needs a battery and a tuneup. The bike had 2 issues, the forks were slightly pitted from a cross country trip and need to be re-chromed/replaced (or keep as is and make frequent fork seal replacements). Second issue was/is a leaky push rod seal. Otherwise, bike rode excellently.
