All the others produce too much wind noise and buffetting. I've had 3 "regular" R1200GS'es and 1 R12GSA - this setup on the R12GS wins hands down. I believe this is the Tall version, but may be the XL as well - not sure. I'm just under 6'1" with a Touratech seat and this works perfectly for my height. It has the clear screen above and tinted below. All mounting hardware included, can be mounted in about an hour by someone with even limited mechanical skills - in other words, it's pretty easy and straight foward to install. The results are remarkable. Airflow goes over and around you, and I can often ride below 50 with my Arai's face shield up all the way. Sells for over $540 new, plus shipping. I purchased it in 2002 with 30,000 miles from a retired friend. All maintenance done by a shop and recorded to that point. I do my own and have kept a 1975 R 90/6 running for over 250,000 miles and 30 years! In fact, my R 90 runs so well that I can’t justify having two bikes! Castrol only, Fall and Spring, BMW filters. I would feel confident taking this bike anywhere in paved North America. 45 mpg and compression like new! With care, this bike will perform well for a lifetime. -------------------------- Bike is original silver paint with white and red stripes. Tank has some belt buckle scratches and a small dent where another bike fell into it. Tall windshield has a small crack at one of the screws that has not grown since I purchased it. Original saddlebags have small cracks from weather. Latches on the bags were replaced with newer types and the ignition key now also opens the bags. Trunk is painted to match and included (BMW). Aftermarket shelf rack. I just replaced the carb CV diaphragms, new BMW battery last spring (trickle charger maintainer used for the winter). New tires. Garaged most of its life. Miles is a high estimate because the Motometer speedo quit right on schedule at 35,000. I drove it far less than 5000 miles before I repaired the odometer gear and set it to 40,000. I will be happy to e-mail photos. Checks must clear originating bank, about 15 days. Identity must be able to be verified to a real address, I will provide same. Preference will be given to a face-to-face transaction for cash. A motorcycle endorsement and verifiable insurance will be required for a test drive.
