Sharp, Reliable K75 Middle Tennessee Typical sturdy 750 CC road bike. Very good condition. 61,500 miles on the clock. 1986 model. 75 HP for this model year. Rare upper and belly European "Sprint" fairing. Properly serviced. See additional information below. For those not familiar w the early model K-bikes, BMW introduced new models in the mid 80's with in-line cylinders, fuel injection and electronic ignition control. They were fast enough for police departments to use, bullet proof and had reasonably good fuel economy. 45 to 50 mpg. The 750 engine is counter-balanced. These smartly engineered machines will and do run 200K miles if you keep them serviced, especially the lubricants & fluids. This is a lot of motorcycle and utility. It should serve you well if you need a road ready commuter or medium range bike. I'm evolving (or devolving) into scooter status. And i need the space. 1998 K1200rs great cond cases Givi top case 1998 Red K1200rs that is in excellent condition. I bought it a year ago with 97,800 miles on it and I have not done a thing to it except change the oil and put 2 new tires on it. The battery is strong, paint is in great condition, it looks like a new one. I have it on ebay starting Sunday July 24th through August 1st you can check out the pictures there. I had it inspected at the Indianapolis BMW dealership when I got it last year and it was given a clean bill of health except for a small leak in the final drive. I have not had to add any to it and it has now 104,000 miles on it and runs like a new one. I have been on vacations, been up and down the blue ridge parkway and it has always run like a champ. It also comes with 3 additional windshields, the short one that is on it, and a stock, tall and tallest...four total. It also has a Givi top case and the BMW system cases. I think this is a really good price, and with it also on ebay it will sell fast. $4,000 - 1987 BMW K75 Motorcycle I have owned this motorcycle ever since 2001. I purchased it with about 24,000 miles on it. I stripped the bike down and had all the body panels painted. I purchased the original BMW hard case saddle bags and trunk and also had their covers sprayed to match the bike. The bike runs smooth and doesn't burn any oil. The motor is strong and trouble-free. <br> <br> Currently, the bike has a Givi trunk mount system in place of the original BMW trunk mount because I use the larger Givi trunk in my travels. However, the Givi trunk mount will stay on the bike and I will provide the original BMW trunk mount with the bike so the purchaser can either mount the BMW trunk (Which looks great on the bike) or can purchase a new Givi trunk to attach to the existing mount. I am keeping the Givi trunk as I use in on one of my other bikes. I have all the receipts from services and parts, etc. that I purchased for the bike since I've owned it. The person that I bought it from had not records for the bike and told me he was the second owner. I've done all the basic maintenance myself (Oil changes, adjustments, etc.) and have had the bike serviced at both BMW of Denver and Foothills BMW for major work. I replaced the transmission at about 35,000 miles because the input shaft splines were thrashed. I had a used transmission with perfect splines installed at that time. There have been zero transmission issues since. I added a set of Hella driving lights which are wired into the OEM dashboard using an OEM switch. The only issue the bike has at this time is related to the Back-Off! module that I installed years ago. That's the electronic module that flashes the break lights multiple times when one applies the brakes. Since it failed, the break lights sometimes do not come on. The problem is intermittent. I just haven't had time to replace or remove the Back-Off! module. I also added Run-n-Lites to both the front and rear so that the turn signal lights also act as running lights. I installed a new battery in June of this year. The front tire still has some miles left in it, but the rear is shot and needs to be replaced. I have a clear Colorado title for the bike. I will include the factory BMW service manual along with both the Clymer and Haynes after market service manuals. The bike is located near Black Hawk, CO, which is about 25 miles west of Denver. I work in Boulder so would be happy to ride the bike down during the week for interested parties. I can also bring the bike down to Golden or Boulder on weekends to show it. If anyone wants to test ride it, they will have to bring cash with them. (Yes, I once had a prospective buyer crash on a test ride. . .)
