Comments: Nearest BMW dealer located in Salt Lake City. I do my own oil changes, brake fluid changes, tire changes (local independent has good prices for Dunlops), valve adjustments and other minor parts replacements to save on dealer labor and for the enjoyment of working on a fine motorcycle. I've got spare beds for two, an enclosed garage, working tools. there's lots of favorite rides and destinations to choose from here in Idaho and surrounding states.

Comments: I'm not a mechanic and don't have a truck; otherwise I'll help any way I can. I have a few tools and a covered space for bikes. No local dealer; nearest is Salt Lake City, others in Boise ID and Missolua MT. At most two people can crash at my place; it's an apartment. I'm a great guide for roads in ID, Northern UT, Western MT and WY. Also know good places for food.

Comments: Fifteen minutes from Pullman, WA(location of Washington State University), 30 miles north of Lewiston, ID, about 100 miles south of Spokane, WA, and 5 hours from the Canadian border. Nearby dealers are: Mac's Cycle in Lewiston, ID, 30 miles south, and Baudry Motorsports in Post Falls, ID, 90 miles north; both have certified BMW mechanics and a reasonable store of parts. The Idaho Panhandle is full of good twisty roads, including the "Rattlesnake grade" down to the Grand Ronde River and across to Enterprise in the far northeast corner of Oregon, and Highway 20 running from Lewiston across the Selway-Bittroot Wilderness to Lolo, MT. Reasonable set of home garage tools available, shop manual, a place to sleep and be fed in emergencies.

Comments: Nearest Dealer is Boise 130 miles. Great roads within 100 miles; Twin Falls is in the desert. I own a pick up and will help if I can, but frankly I'm not up to much mechanically.
