Comments: American sociologist of Polish descent collecting data for a couple years in Eastern Europe eagerly awaits English-speaking riders to this charming old town. The university was founded in 1600's, the square is magical, the hostels are cheap, and Warsaw, Krakow, Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, and Berlin are a day's ride away. I have only been riding for a year, and only been living in Europe for a year, so I would love to have any excuse to set out in any direction whatsoever. My mechanic lives in Prague, and I have no technical ability, but have what appear to be relevant tools and an English language BMW book which I will dust off if necessary. Couch and floor space abounds. Incidentally I am investigating the possibility of getting a group of people together for a ride through Ukraine down to Crimea and over to Greece in mid June through mid July or out to Moscow and St. Peterburg in August. Na zdrowje!
